Rebecka Blomqvist extends her contract with K/Göteborg FC

The 21-year old attacker and Swedish U23 National Team player has had an amazing season so far, with her club in Gothenburg, scoring a total of 7 goals in Damallsvenskan.

”I really enjoy playing for this club and to work with the coaches. It feels like we have something very exciting going on at the moment and I look forward to continue this journey.”

Just in time for the National Team breaks, Blomqvist and her teammates were sitting at the top of the table and can look back on an incredible performance this far. With only seven games left, Blomqvist is looking forward to the final rounds:

”–I’m very happy with my individual performance and I’m in a good place right now. I’m glad I gained confidence, I’m playing a lot and I’ve been able to score some goals as well. The most important thing for us during the final part, is that we continue exactly as we have done this far and to keep playing our style of football.”
