CMG has acquired additional expertise on the commercial and market side
CMG is making a major investment on the market side and has begun a collaboration with the experienced duo Niklas Nestlander and Erik Hall.
– We have a great chance to make a difference for many women’s football players, says Nestlander.
– Helping them build their own brands and increase the opportunities for commercial agreements is an important component that CMG can now offer all clients, says Niklas Nestlander.
Connect Management Group has acquired additional expertise for the company through the collaboration with Niklas Nestlander and Erik Hall.
Niklas got educated as a marketer at San Diego State University and has extensive experience in branding and sales. He has had roles on both the buying and selling side, where the focus has been on the sports industry and FMCG products at companies such as AEG / Sthlm Live, but has also worked for football and hockey clubs and at Åbro Brewery.
For the past 20 years, Erik has worked with sales and business development with a focus on the development of sales organizations and commercial packaging, both strategically and operationally within the business. He has worked in the sports world since 2012 and helped companies such as SportFive, Lagardère, Friends Arena and Solvalla.
– We are happy and very proud to now be a part of CMG. We see our work as important and with a great chance to make a difference for many of the women’s football players who fight as hard as the men, but who have extremely much smaller compensation for the job. Helping them build their own brands and increase the opportunities for commercial agreements is an important component that CMG can now offer all clients, says Niklas Nestlander.
Maria Karlsson De Cecco, CEO & Client Manager at CMG:
– Having been involved from the start of CMG’s journey, I am incredibly pleased about our commercial venture and that CMG can now also offer our clients help in this area. Erik and Niklas have a long and solid experience in the industry, their personalities and skills makes me very happy that they are now part of CMG’s team.
