Cecilie Fiskerstrand returns to LSK Women in Norway

Cecilie Fiskerstrand leaves Brighton & Hove Albion in FA WSL and returns to LSK Women in Norway.

– I am so happy to come back to LSK and I think it will be very good, says Fiskerstrand.

– We’ve seen the great development that Cecilie has pushed herself through in England the last year and we are excited to see her reap the fruits of that in the Norwegian league this season. She also earned the place as the number one goalkeeper in Norway, says Lisa Ek, Client Manager at CMG.

The 25-year-old Norwegian national team goalkeeper stayed one and a half season in Brighton. The latest ended with a sixth place, but now she returns to LSK Women, the club she won the league with four times and also won the two cup golds during her recent stay in the Norwegian top team.

– We’ve seen the great development that Cecilie has pushed herself through in England the last year and we are excited to see her reap the fruits of that in the Norwegian league this season. She earned the place as the number one goalkeeper in Norway and in LSK she will be getting as many games as possible as a part of her build up to the Euros 2022, says Lisa Ek, Client Manager at CMG.

LSK has started the season with three straight wins and is placed at the top of the table, where the goal is to take back the throne from the top competitor Vålerenga, who became champion last year.
