Preseason camp in London

The second and the shortest month of the year has arrived and the friendly games with it. Most of the teams who are playing in the “summer leagues” in Europe have started their pre-season and have started to compete in scrimmages. Most of the “winter leagues” have started up after the Christmas break and those that have not will do so in the coming weeks.

CMG, together with the FA WSL team Chelsea Ladies FC is organizing a friendly tournament with Swedish WUCL team FC Rosengård and the English top team Arsenal Ladies FC.

“We will go to England for a training camp where we get the possibility to play games against Chelsea and Arsenal. It’s going to be perfect opponents to prepare ourselves for the games against Barcelona.”

In Scandinavia, the coming months are interesting so that teams can understand what point they are at before the Cup- and League games start. The importance of these games is big and it is of a great value for the teams to get good opponents that prepare the players, staff and entire club for the 2017 season.

This year CMG, together with the FA WSL team Chelsea Ladies FC is organizing a friendly tournament with Swedish WUCL team FC Rosengård and the English top team Arsenal Ladies FC. The goal for this five-day camp is for teams to prepare themselves for the upcoming season with domestic and international games.

Jack Majgaard Jensen, coach at FC Rosengård: “We will go to England for a training camp where we get the possibility to play games against Chelsea and Arsenal. It’s going to be perfect opponents to prepare ourselves for the games against Barcelona.”

CMG has used its connections and network to organize all facets of the trip including hotel, transports, training pitches, conference rooms, meals and training material for FC Rosengård. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Jacqui Little at Hallmark Hotel Croydon, Nick Walker at Ellisons Travel Service, Paul Dipre at Carlshalton Athletic FC and last but not least Paul Green, Adrian Jacobs and Robert Udberg at Chelsea FC and Therese Sjögran at FC Rosengård for great collaboration.

At CMG we look forward to this week’s games:

Thursday 9 February 2pm – Arsenal Ladies FC – FC Rosengård
Sunday 12 February 11am – Chelsea Ladies FC – FC Rosengård
