Swedish NT Player Jessica Samuelsson signs for Arsenal

CMG is excited to announce that Swedish defender Jessica Samuelsson has signed for Arsenal. Jessica has been playing in the Damallsvenskan for Linköpings FC, where she won the Swedish championship just last year. Jessica was also a part of the Swedish NT who won silver in the Olympic games in Brazil last year and she played in the UEFA Women’s Euro this summer.

Juventus Femminile signs Norwegian NT Player Ingvild Isaksen

CMG is proud to announce that Norwegian midfielder Ingvild Isaksen has signed for Italian Serie A team Juventus Femminile. Ingvild has been playing in the Norwegian Toppserien for Stabæck and Kolbotn before that. Last month she was a part of the Norwegian national team playing in the UEFA Women’s Euro in the Netherlands.

Alyssa Lagonia has signed for Cyprus Champions Apollon Ladies FC

CMG is excited to announce that Canadian midfielder Alyssa Lagonia has signed for Cyprus champions Apollon Ladies FC. Alyssa has lately been playing in the Swiss league with FC Neunkirch. Alyssa and Apollon Ladies FC will play in the UEFA Women’s Champions League this fall.

CMG is headed to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Convention (NSCAA) in sunny California. The convention will be held January 11-15 at the Los Angeles Convention center. read more

National team player signs for the newcomers LB07 in DA

CMG client and Icelandic national team player Anna Björk Kristjansdottir has signed with the Swedish newcomers LB07. Last season Anna played with KIF Örebro and she has 27 caps with the Icelandic national team. LB07 will start their season with an away game against the Swedish champions Linköping FC. CMG wishes the best of luck to Anna and LB07 in the upcoming season. read more

NCAA Division II & III Winners

In NCAA Division II two programs took home their first ever national title as the Wingate University Bulldogs won the men’s National Championship and the Western Washington Vikings won the women’s. In NCAA Division III 90 minutes wasn’t enough as both the men’s and women’s national championship games went to overtime. In two tight match ups Washington St. Louis won the women’s national title and Tufts took home the men’s. read more

NCAA National Champions

The 2016 college soccer season is finished and only one team in each division is fortunate enough to call themselves the 2016 national champions. The state of California took home both the men’s and women’s Division I national championships as the Stanford Cardinals won the men’s College Cup and the University of Southern California won the women’s. read more

Silly season or time to be professional?

December is the last month of the year. It’s the Christmas month, but it’s also the month when top leagues as Damallsvenskan and Elitettan in Sweden, Toppserien in Norway, FA WSL in England have ended. It’s the month when Silly Season is very active and when most of the players are inactive.
