Linköping FC – The Swedish Champions of Damallsvenskan 2017

Linköping FC is the Swedish Champions for the second consecutive year.

With a lead of nine points ahead of the runner up Rosengård before todays game and with only three rounds left, all they needed was one point. After playing 0-0 against Kvarnsveden, LFC secured the 2017 title.

CMG clients Janni Arnth, Jonna Andersson, Cajsa Andersson, Anna Oscarsson, Lina Hurtig together with Magdalena Eriksson and Jessica Samuelsson (who left for Chelsea Ladies FC/Arsenal Ladies FC in the summer transfer window) can now call themselves Swedish Champions of Damallsvenskan 2017.

Rylee Baisden signs with Ambilly Féminin FC

Rylee Baisden is originally from the US and has most recently been playing with the USA women's soccer team in the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei. After a good season in Skövde KIK (Div 1) in Sweden she’s now transfering to Ambilly Féminin FC in the French 2nd League. read more

Swedish Champion Cajsa Andersson is moving up – to Piteå IF

Despite her young age, the goalkeeper Cajsa Andersson has already won two Swedish championships and played in the Champions League. The 24-year-old Swedish international has put pen to paper on a contract with Piteå IF, which will be her new club address starting in 2018. read more

College Client Daniel Sonnerstedt advances to third round of NCAA tournament

Congratulations to CMGs college client Daniel Sonnerstedt who made his first career start and advanced to the third round of the NCAA tournament earlier this week. Daniel plays for the Lander University Bearcats in NCAA Division II. The team has had a very successful season winning the Peach Belt Conference regular season and conference tournament championship. read more

Mimmi Larsson extends her contract with Eskilstuna United

Mimmi Larsson scored 11 goals and was one of the top scorers in Damallsvenskan this year. There’s no doubt that she’s been a major asset to Eskilstuna United’s success during her past two years in the club. Mimmi has been frequently part of the Swedish National Team and played a total of six national games throughout the year, which also includes the European Championship in Holland this summer. read more

It’s time for the Round of 16 in the UWCL

UEFA Women’s Champions League continues and it’s time for the Round of 16. Linköpings FC, who last week became Swedish champions will take on Sparta Praha from the Czech Republic. The games will be played November 8th and 15th. CMG is represented by defenders Janni Arnth, Anna Oscarsson and Jonna Andersson and goalkeeper Cajsa Andersson. read more

Fall college sports are in full swing and are now getting into the second half of conference season. Most teams have the goal of making the post season tournaments and competing for an NCAA national championship. read more
