The Swedish top league Damallsvenskan has its season openers with five games tomorrow Easter Sunday and one game on Easter Monday. As last year FC Rosengård and Linköping FC are favorites to win the title. The second league in Sweden, Elitettan started with three games last Thursday and the last game in the first round will be played on Monday. In Elitettan Växjö DFF from south of Sweden is a favorite to win the league.

Even the Norwegian top league, Toppserien, starts this weekend with all full round on Easter Monday. LSK Kvinner, Avaldsnes, Stabæk and Kolbotn are the teams that will fight about the title even this season.

The Danish League, Elitedivisionen, has started its “playoff league” and it will go on until mid-June. As the last years, Brøndby and Fortuna Hjørring are the favorites to become Danish champions.

The English FA WSL will go from being a summer league to become a winter league and therefore the teams will play Spring Series from April 22nd to the beginning of June. The new version of the league will start in the fall 2017.

On Iceland the league, Úrvalsdeild, starts April 27nd and the expected league winner is Stjarnan who won the championship last season.

The French league, D1 feminine, has one and a half month left and Olympique Lyonnais is going towards the title even this year. The second UWCL spot for France is still open between Montpellier and PSG.

In Germany the league, Frauen Bundesliga, ends in the end of May and it will be a tough fight between the three top teams Wolfsburg, Turbine Potsdam and Bayern München.
