Connect Management Group is excited to announce the appointment of Kristofer Ottosson as Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Ottosson will continue to serve as Director of Hockey in addition to his role of CEO.

Ottosson has an impressive sports resume and considerable experience as a professional hockey player including 2 Swedish National Championships and 1 world Championship Bronze Medal. During his athletic career, he represented the Swedish National Hockey team on 50 occasions and played 763 games for Djurgården IF in Sweden’s top professional league.
Ottosson is a founder of the company and has been with CMG from the start. He will continue to implement CMGs vision of supporting athletes to develop, grow and reach maximum success on and off the field. He will also be responsible for negotiating, recruiting, and mentoring CMG’s ice hockey clients.

In addition to his work at CMG, Ottosson will continue to be an expert commentator for Radiosporten and franchise owner of fitness and network concept Hockey Academy.
Former CEO, Khaled El-Ahmad will continue to be involved with the company and support the mission from abroad as he takes on his new role as North America & CONCACAF scouting manager for City football group based in New York.
